Backpack Ministry

Beloved Backpack Ministry exists to provide our Greenbrook Elementary children in need with essential supplies—such as food, school materials —packed discreetly in backpacks, which are provided. The purpose is to help remove barriers to learning and well-being, demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways, and build trust with families who may be struggling.

What goes in the backpacks?

Children are provided:

Weekend Food Support: Sending food home with children on Fridays so they have meals over the weekend.
School Supplies: Equipping these students with backpacks and supplies so they can start school ready to learn.
Providing kid-friendly biblical reading resources.

How you can help!

Donate Food or Funds
Your generosity makes a direct impact. You can donate non-perishable food items or school items to help us fill backpacks for children who may otherwise go hungry over the weekend. If you're unable to donate food, financial contributions are equally vital, your funds allow our team to purchase exactly what’s needed to ensure every child receives nutritious and balanced meals throughout the school year.
